You’ll get many benefits with these plans, including peace of mind for when you need to schedule service with our team at Weber Ford. Read our guide for more information about the outstanding options for a Ford Extended Service Contract available to you.

Four Ford Protect Extended Service Plans

There are four available Ford Protect Extended Service Plans, and each one has different levels of service. They also increase in price. However, the value is well worth it when you know you won’t have to worry about budgeting for certain maintenance costs.

  • PowertrainCARE: With this plan, 29 components of your Ford will be covered within the engine, transmission, RWD, and FWD. Although not all parts in these systems are covered, the ones that are the most expensive are. For example, the radiator is not covered for the engine, and bearings are not covered with the RWD and FWD.
  • BaseCARE: The BaseCARE Service Plan increases your coverage to 84 components. These include all of the ones from the PowertrainCARE plan as well as steering, brakes, front suspension, HVAC system, and electrical components. Again, certain aspects will not be covered, such as the anti-lock brake module.
  • ExtraCARE: This Ford Extended Service Contract covers 113 components, including the ones we already mentioned plus the tech and convenience features. If any part of the keyless entry and power window motors break down, these are covered. It does not, however, cover more advanced technologies like Ford SYNC® or rain-sensing wipers.
  • PremiumCARE: The PremiumCARE plan covers over 1,000 components of your Ford. This means anything not covered in the other three plans will be covered here. This is complete peace of mind!

Ford Extended Service Contract Options for EVs

We have three Ford Extended Service Contract plans for EVs and hybrids: BaseCare EV, ExtraCare EV, and PremiumCare EV. These plans cover 84 components, 113 components, and 1,000+ components respectively.
